There are more and more people getting online everyday, which means teaching security a very difficult task. For those tech savvy folk its generally a no-brainer to have separate passwords for different websites. However, there are a lot of people who use the same password for their online banking as their Facebook, which is DANGEROUS!
Recently Twitter has coded 370 passwords into their registration page, which is very clever. These words are not secure enough passwords in the eyes of the Twitter team. In order to see these passwords, view the source code for the registration page. Do a search for the words: twttr.BANNED_PASSWORDS.
There happens to be plug-ins for FireFox that can generate secure passwords, but another great way is to mix up the characters of the password your creating, this will make it more difficult to crack!
Do you know of any useful password generators?
